Welcome to GP's Creative Corner! We are thrilled to have you join our Homeschool Club, where creativity flourishes and friendships blossom. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children aged 5-9 to explore their artistic abilities. This document outlines our policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants and their families.

General Policies

1. Eligibility:

   • Our Homeschool  Club is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 12. We believe that children at this age can benefit immensely from artistic expression and collaboration.

2. Registration:

   • Pre-registration Required: All participants must pre-register for club sessions. This allows us to prepare adequately for each class and ensure that we have enough supplies and materials.

   • Online Registration Only: Registration can only be completed online through our website.

   • Registration Fee: A nominal registration fee may apply to cover materials and administrative costs. This fee is non-refundable.

3. Attendance:

   • Regular Participation: We encourage regular attendance as it fosters a sense of community and continuity in learning.

   • Notification of Absences: If a participant is unable to attend a session, please notify us in advance via email or phone. This helps us plan accordingly and ensures we can accommodate all students.

4. Behavior:

   • Respect and Kindness: All participants are expected to demonstrate respect and kindness towards their peers and instructors. This includes listening attentively, sharing materials, and cooperating with others.

   • Zero Tolerance for Bad Behavior: We have a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior. Any actions that negatively impact the learning environment or other students, such as bullying, inappropriate language, or defying instructions, will not be tolerated.

   • Consequences for Bad Behavior: If a child engages in disruptive or inappropriate behavior, parents will be notified immediately. Repeated infractions may result in the participant being removed from the class, without a refund, to ensure the positive experience of other students is not compromised.

5. Supplies:

   • Provided Materials: GP's Creative Corner will provide all necessary art supplies for each session. This includes paints, brushes, paper, and any specialized materials needed for projects.

   • Personal Supplies: Participants are welcome to bring personal art supplies they wish to use, but please ensure they are labeled with the child's name.

Missed Classes

1. Make-up Sessions:

   • No Make-up Classes: Due to the structure of the art club, we are unable to offer make-up classes for missed sessions. Each project is unique to the day’s session, and materials are prepared in advance for that specific time.

2. Missed Projects:

   • Take-home Materials (When Possible): If a child misses a session, we will do our best to provide any leftover materials or a summary of the project that can be completed at home. Please contact us in advance if you know your child will be absent.

   • Catch-up Information: We will provide parents with a summary of the missed class via email upon request. This will allow the child to stay informed on what the group is working on and continue their creative journey at home.

3. Refunds or Credits:

   • No Refunds or Credits for Missed Classes: We do not provide refunds or credits for missed classes, as we plan and purchase materials based on the number of registrants.

Health and Safety

1. Health Guidelines:

   • Allergy Information: Parents/guardians must inform GP's Creative Corner of any allergies or medical conditions that may affect their child during art activities. This is crucial for the safety of all participants.

   • Hygiene Practices: All participants must wash their hands before and after each session. We will provide handwashing stations to ensure everyone maintains good hygiene.

2. Emergency Procedures:

   • Safety Protocols: In the event of an emergency, our staff will follow established procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

   • Emergency Contacts: Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact information during the registration process. This ensures we can reach someone in case of an emergency.

   • Email Communication: Important announcements, updates, and reminders will be communicated via email. Parents/guardians should ensure their contact information is accurate and current to receive all communications.
